The Buff-Megamo team has once again made its mark at the Mediterranean Epic by SCOTT 2025, delivering a stellar performance by securing overall victory in both the men’s and women’s categories. Rosa van Doorn and Wout Alleman repeat last year’s triumph, asserting their dominance from start to finish
Rosa was the standout performer in the women’s category. From the opening time trial—where she flew over the course to take a commanding victory—to the final stage, she was unbeatable, winning all four stages. In the second stage, she set a relentless pace that only her teammate Janina Wust could follow, extending her overall lead. On the third day, she attacked solo on a key climb and never looked back, crossing the finish line alone. In the final stage, she controlled the race and sealed her perfect performance with a sprint victory, successfully defending her title dominantly.
In the men’s category, Wout Alleman showcased his strength and tactical skill in every stage, securing the leader’s jersey and defending his crown with intelligence and confidence. Supported by Buff-Megamo’s outstanding teamwork, he managed the race brilliantly to claim another well-deserved victory, reaffirming his exceptional form.
Janina Wust also shone, securing second place in women’s overall standings after a remarkably consistent performance. In the men’s race, Pablo Rodríguez and Martín Stosek achieved top-10 finishes, while Hans Becking, after a tough start, staged a strong comeback in the final stages.
Once again, Buff-Megamo demonstrates its ambition, strength, and winning spirit.
