Last weekend was a historic day for athletics and for the 226ERS family. Our athletes Fatima Azzahraa Ouhaddou and Majida Maayouf were crowned European Marathon Champions and sub-champion, proving once again that effort, perseverance and passion are the formula for achieving any goal.
In a race characterised by the high physical demands and the very high level of the participants, Fatima Azzahraa ran an impeccable race, maintaining a solid and constant pace from start to finish to cross the finish line as the new continental champion. For her part, Majida Maayouf gave a lesson in strategy and endurance, securing second place and joining her compatriot and team-mate on a dream podium.
A victory that belongs to everyone
