María Varo, from Tri Infinity Móstoles, and Nacho Gálvez, from Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, were named champion and champion of the Spanish Duathlon 2025 in the Elite category. This was Varo’s third national gold, while Gálvez won his first title. They also won the Reto 300 classification, which means they got extra money for being in the top spots in each race.
The centre of Cáceres and all the points of the course were filled with people during the main races. María Varo, who was defending her national title, quickly took the lead and finished the race in 1 hour, 0 minute and 58 seconds. Nacho Gálvez was crowned Spanish champion after an exciting race with a time of 52 minutes and 44 seconds.
The Spanish Duathlon Championship 2025 was organised by the Spanish Triathlon Federation, with the outstanding participation of 226ERS.
