The 26th edition of The North Face Transgrancanaria took place this weekend, 22nd February, and it was the edition of records, with more than 5,300 participants of 70 nationalities taking part in the eight modalities of the race, consolidating its status as an international reference event in trail running.
In the 126km category, the American Caleb Olson set a new men’s record, completing the distance in 12 hours, 2 minutes and 50 seconds. In the women’s race, Henriette Alban of Norway won in 15 hours, 2 minutes and 50 seconds.
In addition, Antonio Martínez, an athlete sponsored by 226ERS, stood out in this edition, defending his title in the Half category with a distance of 21 kilometres between Puente and Tejada.
Once again, 226ERS was the official sponsor of the event, providing the athletes with a range of products to contribute to their performance and well-being during the demanding race.
