Patrick Lange becomes IRONMAN distance triathlon world champion for the third time, in Kona (Hawai). He managed this great win with a final time of 7 hours, 35 minutes and 53 seconds, beating the race’s record.

Patrick Lange’s split times

Patrick’s race was better than perfect, finishing in first place with the fastest time amongst all participants:

  • Swim: 3,9 km – 47’09”
  • Bike: 180 km – 4h06’22”
  • Run: 42,195 km – 2h37’34”

Nutritional strategy

Patrick’s race nutritional strategy was a key factor to optimize his performance. Just as he confirmed, he followed a high performance nutrition, taking the necessary carbohydrates for both the cycling and running splits, with High Fructose gels and Hydrajelly sackets.

Awesome Patrick! 226ERS shares your great achievement.
